Welcome!
Personhood in Practice is a space for reflection, curiosity, and honest exploration of what it means to be human. Through personal essays and thoughtful inquiry, this project explores identity, embodiment, and the ways we learn to relate to ourselves and others.
This isn’t a place for perfect answers. It’s a place for practice.
Here, I write about the lived experience of becoming — how identity unfolds across seasons of life, how relationships shape us, and how we make meaning of our bodies, our histories, and our connections. Some reflections come from everyday life, some from questions that don’t resolve easily, and some from the quiet work of paying attention.
Personhood is not a fixed destination. It is something we practice, moment by moment, in the choices we make, the stories we tell, and the ways we show up for ourselves and others.
This space simply holds those explorations.
You’re welcome to read, reflect, and practice alongside me.

About Me
I’m the voice behind Personhood in Practice—a spouse, a new parent to a curious seven-month-old, and someone who spends a lot of time reflecting on what it means to grow into ourselves over the course of a life. Writing here helps me slow down and pay attention to the ways identity, embodiment, and relationships shape who we are becoming.
This space holds those reflections as I continue learning, loving, and growing alongside the people in my life.
